- People should let Philipp, Danupon, or Mads know

- Associate professorship in Software Construction: in final stages of preparation, can hopefully be announced soon
- New members of the group:
- Thatchaphol, new PhD student of Danupon
- Christoph (PhD, Aachen) 6-months postdoc with Jakob

Appointments committee and faculty council
- Johan from now on chairman of faculty appointments committee of all of KTH
- Function of this committee: determining hiring profiles, accept people for promotion (adjunct, lecturer, professor, etc.), only for faculty positions. Not clear on which level of detail.
- Jakob’s question: could Johan influence timing of positions? To be figured out.

Equipment
- Nothing new about computers.
PhD production 14/15
- Faculty allocation is dependent on PhD production.
- Question: how many PhD were produced in the academic year 14/15?
- Will be answered via faculty list

KTH opportunities fund
- Sonja presented KTH opportunities fund (presented by the dean)
- Money from alumni from KTH
- Money for traveling, PhD student projects, etc. (e.g., PhD students want to go to conference)
- Under-used, so worth applying to
- Running applications, no deadlines
- Difference to other grants: might have fewer constraints

- In the past many PhD students got money from this fund
Ways to improve service
- Suggestions solicited for how service of central KTH could be improved
- Michael:
- Service could help more with administration of grants (such as EU Horizon grants)
- Research support: help with procedures of certain grants like Vinnova and SSF

- Jakob: IT support
- Should have 24/7 support for certain things like mail servers
- Crucial when needed, such as on deadline (Monday morning might be too late)

- Viggo: educational support too small, e.g., issues with Ladok, needs more people
- Sonja: improvement of administration routines
- Invitations should be sent out earlier, so that people can attend.
- Michael: could be run by the group to avoid conflicts.

- Dilian: how does single entry point work for people?
- Sonja: service center has improved web pages with categories (below search), provide feedback if links point to the wrong pages!
- Mads: very tedious that all emails and web pages have to be done in both Swedish and English, leads to discrepancies, outdated information, and additional effort.
- Per: helpful to have paper copies at meeting places
- Would be nice to remove tracking links from Numera posts
- Travel refunding takes a lot of time.
—> Email Sonja and Mads about additional feedback for service.
Dilian:
- New agenda item: Masterpieces in TCS course should be discussed at some point. Which forum to use? Should the course be mandatory? And other questions.
