Goals:

  • To build momentum and critical mass in a research area of vital strategic importance to KTH, Swedish IT industry, and the wider society
  • To identify potential for new collaborations and synergy between research groups at KTH, SICS, and industry and governmental organizations in the security domain
  • To support several recent and coming recruitments in the security area at CSC, SICS, and EES
  • To prepare the ground for new strategic recruitments in the security area
  • To create the basis for a future centre of excellence in the computer and network security domain
